Scholastic Book Orders

If you are interested in ordering books as a gift for your child, please let me know and I will get the books to you without your child seeing them. Thank you to everyone who has placed orders online with Scholastic. Every month we get an order, we get a free book for our classroom! Conferences

We are very excited about our upcoming conferences. The students have been working hard and are anxious to share their goals and progress with you. The conference will begin with your child reading something to you that they wrote and sharing their personal goals in reading and math. Next, we will go over their MAP scores and discuss areas of strength and areas we are working to improve. I sent a conference sheet home today for you to complete if there are any specific concerns you would like to have addressed as well at the conference. I look forward to meeting with you!

Report Cards

Students will be bringing their first report card home on November 10th. This is a snapshot of how they are doing in specific areas of our curriculum. Not all grades are reflected on the report card because there is not enough information this early in the year to create a learning trend.
