Hi, my name is Mrs. Magyar and I am going to be your first grade teacher! Welcome to our class blog. What is a blog? Well, a blog is a place where we can share what we are learning with family and friends. We will be able to put pictures on here and write about what we are learning. This will be a special place where we will show how much we have grown this year.

ReplyDeleteMy Name is Rohan. This summer, I did lot of traveling went to Chicago, Cumberland Falls, KY where I did horseback riding, hiking, etc. I also played with my legos. My favorite thing about kindergarten was math and reading. I had lots of fun with Ms Olsen and looking forward to have more fun with you.

ReplyDeleteOver summer vacation, I went swimming in the lake and almost caught some fish. I've been reading, writing and doing math. I feel that first grade is going to be great!

ReplyDeleteMy name is Max. Aunt May and Uncle Seth had a wedding and I was the ring bearer. Molly was the flower girl. They had a big party. We saw some kittens. We went to the lake and there were sardine fish on the sand. We went swimming, but it was really cold. My favorite thing about kindergarten was writing and learning. I'm excited about first grade!

ReplyDeleteHi Mrs Magyar, I am Shrayan Jharia. Its very nice to hear from you. I am having fun with my family , playing, reading and doing Maths. We went to the Detroit Princess Riverboat Cruise. It was very fun!! I participated in Hulla Hoop concert. Presently I am working with my summer Journal and summer Math work. I hope you are having great summer !!!

ReplyDeleteMy name is Zoe! I loved getting your postcard! This summer I learned to ride my bike without training wheels. My family and I went on vacation to visit the Mall of America! It was fun! I like to read and have been working on my bridge book.
I gotta question for you Mrs. Magyar. How much wood would a wood-chuck chuck, if a wood-chuck could chuck wood?

Hi Zoe! How exciting that you learned how to ride your bike this summer. I know you really persevered to learn how to do that. I have always wanted to go to Mall of America; I can't wait to hear all about your trip. Great job on working on your bridge book. That is a perfect indoor activity when it gets too hot outside. As for your question...I'm not sure how much wood a woodchuck would chuck, but I sure hope he doesn't do it in my yard :) Enjoy the rest of your summer, I'll see you in a few weeks~

ReplyDeleteMy name is Sohan. I'm really excited for first grade! This summer, my family and I went to India to visit our cousins. We also went to Dubai and saw the tallest tower in the world! I love playing soccer. My favorite thing about kindergarten was learning to read and write. I can't wait to start first grade!

ReplyDeleteHi, I'm Anoushka! I liked summer camp this summer because we went to a lot of places! I even went to Ford Field! I went camping and I went to a Tiger's game! The game was sad because the Tiger's lost. I liked Kindergarten because we went on a lot of field trips and I like MAP testing. I'm excited for first grade!!! Also, I want to know what we learn about in first grade. I can't wait!!!
